October 15 and 16: Webinar “Opportunities of the Horizon Europe Program for Central America”

October 15 and 16: Webinar “Opportunities of the Horizon Europe Program for Central America”

RedCLARA, in collaboration with the European Union-Central America Partnership Facility (EUreCA), invites all National Research and Education Networks (NRNs), universities, and research, science, technology, and innovation (R&D) centers in Central America to participate in the virtual workshop "Opportunities of the Horizon Europe Program for Central America," aimed at contributing to the development of research and innovation in the region.

The workshop will take place on October 15 and 16, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Central America time). The European Union supports this event under its Global Gateway strategy and organizes it in collaboration with the Ministry of Science, Innovation, Technology, and Telecommunications of Costa Rica, as well as EURAXESS Latin America and the Caribbean, an initiative that promotes the mobility and professional development of researchers.

Entities and organizations from other Central American countries will be able to participate virtually as well as in person at the CeNAT headquarters in San José, Costa Rica.

Horizon Europe serves as the European Union's primary funding mechanism for research and innovation, promoting international, cross-sectoral, and interdisciplinary collaboration while facilitating knowledge exchange throughout the entire value chain. During the workshop, presentations and discussions will allow researchers, educators, public officials, and entrepreneurs to strengthen their capacities to engage in this framework. After completing their registration for the virtual format, participants will receive an access link.
