Open Call: Early Adopters Blockchain Latin America Program

Open Call: Early Adopters Blockchain Latin America Program

RedCLARA and LNET  announce the launch of the Early Adopters Blockchain LATAM Program, an initiative designed to create spaces for developing and testing new solutions, validating pilots, training teams, and building success stories that are born and strengthened locally, in direct response to the needs of Latin America.

The call is aimed at National Research and Education Networks (NRENs) and their universities, research centers, incubators, Web3 startups, spin-offs, and student or researcher groups in emerging technologies. The goal is to attract teams committed to digital transformation, capable of turning ideas into impactful prototypes and pilots.

According to the organizers, the next wave of digital transformation in Latin America will be built on blockchain, an infrastructure that is already revolutionizing sectors such as digital identity, traceability, academic certification, financial inclusion, and digital governance. Participants will have the opportunity to join this transformation and contribute to regional change.

The program will begin on September 23, 2025, with the ideation and proposal submission phase, followed by a Q&A session on October 1. Proposal evaluation will take place shortly after, and the induction session will be held on October 8. The pilot development stage will run from October 9 to November 21, and the program will conclude with Demo Day, scheduled between December 2 and 5, 2025.

During the program, teams that take part will get special access to the L-Net testnet, with a node funded by BELLA II, as well as help with technical and strategic advice, special workshops, involvement in the local community, certification, international exposure, and a chance to expand their solutions to the mainnet.

Over the course of six weeks, participating teams will follow a structured innovation process that includes the evaluation and refinement of ideas aligned with regional challenges, pilot development in a secure environment, and mentorship from experts. Each stage is designed to strengthen capacities, generate real value, and establish permanent skills within the teams.
