The BELLA II Project: A pillar of connectivity and cooperation for digital inclusion

The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) and the Chilean government organized the IX Ministerial Conference on the Information Society, in which RedCLARA actively participated. This event brought together authorities from Latin America and the Caribbean, representatives from the private sector, civil society, the technical community, and international organizations to outline strategies for the region's digital future.

Strategic meetings in Peru to strengthen international cooperation

As part of the BELLA II project, RedCLARA held a series of strategic meetings in Peru to continue advancing the establishment of a National Research and Education Network (RNIE). The meetings involved key stakeholders from the scientific and educational sectors, including the European Union Cooperation Office in Peru, the National Strategic Planning Center (CEPLAN), the National Commission for Aerospace Research and Development (CONIDA), the National Council of Science, Technology, and Innovation (CONCYTEC), and the National Telecommunications Program (Pronatel).

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

BELLA II receives funding from the European Union through the Neighbourhood, Development and International Cooperation Instrument (NDICI), under agreement number 438-964 with DG-INTPA, signed in December 2022. The implementation period of BELLA II is 48 months.
