Nine Latin American Projects Advance in BELLA II Early Adopters Blockchain Program

Out of a total of 13 registered initiatives, nine projects from Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Bolivia, Brazil, and Guatemala advanced to the active phase of the BELLA II Early Adopters Blockchain Program, organized by RedCLARA and LNet. The program aims to promote the adoption of public-permissioned blockchain-based solutions across the academic, scientific, governmental, and entrepreneurial ecosystems in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Conectividad y cooperación en la agenda de la Semana Digital UE-ALC

El proyecto BELLA II, implementado por RedCLARA y cofinanciado por la Unión Europea, fue presentado como una apuesta estratégica para reducir brechas digitales y fortalecer la conectividad regional durante la Semana de la Alianza Digital Unión Europea-América Latina y el Caribe (UE-ALC), llevada a cabo entre el 22 y el 26 de septiembre de 2025. La iniciativa busca integrar a países como Perú, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras y El Salvador al ecosistema digital de RedCLARA, perfilándose como un motor de desarrollo, inclusión y cooperación académica y científica entre ambas regiones.

As the event in San José, Costa Rica approaches, the favorable news keeps coming: TICAL2025 has opened its call for posters, a unique opportunity for researchers, professionals, and academics from across Latin America and the Caribbean to present their most innovative projects during the conference, which will be held from November 11 to 13, 2025. Under the theme “Innovation That Transforms,” TICAL2025 positions itself as the ideal space to share advancements, build collaborative networks, and provide international visibility to initiatives shaping the region’s digital future.
